Re: cart just sitting there
Its not supposed to move untill you give it enough gas to engage the clutch. When the rpms go up the clutch will engage and grab the belt and then turn the driven clutch. If your giving it throttle and the engine is revving and the belt is not moving then you have a "Drive Clutch" problem.
The belt it not gonna get real tight...not like a belt on a car engine. It will be loose at idle/low rpm and eventually get tighter as speed increases. |

Re: cart just sitting there
So now the engine is not revving up? The engine has rev up to engage the drive clutch. Look at your throttle and make sure its opening all the way......

Re: cart just sitting there
Thanks Roady89 and that makes me feel better i hope its not a clutch problem because it want rev up maybe i need to check the fuel filters and see if that will help because when i press the throttle it dosen't get any faster in the engine

Re: cart just sitting there
Can you look and see if the throttle (on top of carb) is moving when you press the pedal.....if so make sure its opening all the way.
Second...are you sure its running and not just the starter turning over the engine? |
