Club Car 341cc question
I want to lift a golf cart 5 or 6" and put 22" or 23" tires under it, I have a chance to buy a gas club car with a 341cc in it. Do these have pretty good power, and are the lift kits easily obtained? I just sold a 90 gas EZ GO, and there was absolutely no way it could have pulled bigger tires, it was a dog. Thanks!

Re: Club Car 341cc question
I have a 91 Club car with the 341cc motor in it. It is a stock club car motor and they are manufactured by kawasaki. I just recently within the last month installed a 6" lift and 22" tires. the power loss is defintly noticable with 2 people on the trails but still gets around pretty decent for the most part.

Re: Club Car 341cc question
If you want to climb hills put the stiffest spring you find in secondary clutch. You will loose top end speed but gain low end. Also engine placement makes big difference in speed and low end

Re: Club Car 341cc question
In what way does engine placement effect speed and power?

Re: Club Car 341cc question
Changes belt tension tighter gives more low end looser gives top end. Learned that from just moving back and forth till found sweet spot for me.
