Gas cart smoking at first....
I've ran electrics for awhile and bought my first gas cart last week. My question is, when I first run it, it smokes when you accelerate moderately. After 100 yards or so it clears out and runs fine at all speeds and no smoke. My first thought would be valve seal, but thought I would ask you guys for your opinions on what to check, or if I should just keep ridin' out and not sweat it so much......It is a 95 Club Car if that matters at all.

Re: Gas cart smoking at first....
Welcome!!!
I would first check to make sure that you don't have to much oil in it. It could need the oil changed. Check to see what type and how munch you need. Hope this helps. |
