I have the cheapo digital from ebay but would like to go to an anolog. I was reading this thread http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/gas-c...e290-tach.html. I went and bought the 6086 from oreillys but it is only for 4-6-8 cylinders. There is no red button on back only a switch to select the amount of cylinders. Did they make two different 6086's?
Can anyone clear this up? |

Equus may know gauges but they dont know jack about websites with useful info or else they redesigned there tachs and the one I bought today is 10 years old. Nowhere on their site can you find how many cylinders the tach will work for except in the downloadable instructions and they have one set for every tach on their site and the one I just bought is not the same. Even the instructions that came with the tach are not the same.

The tach is an equus 8068 . A lot of use use them. I have one on each of my carts. There a ton of vendors that sell them at all different kinds of prices. Take your pick.
