seat foam
I have a 2005 villager 8,recently bought w/no seat bottoms. Does anyone sell pre cut foam? Seems I can find everything but the foam, for making my own.

Re: seat foam
I redid the backrest on my 87 cc with cushion from a sofa that somebody threw away.
The cushion was pretty easy to cut to size with some very sharp shears. |

Re: seat foam
Check with our site-sponsors.You can buy foam or complete cushions.Hang onto your wallet buying foam from the usual places like JoAnns'.I went there when i built mine,it was gonna be over $200 just for the foam!!!I used an old couch-cushion.You can cut the foam with an electric-knife(thats what the fabric/upholstery places use too).Use your base as a pattern and cut as needed.Check also with cart dealers or golf-courses,sometimes they have used/old seats that are good or need recovering.I bought my seat-base from a cart-rental place with bad foam and upholstery, but good handles(which I needed)and the base for $35.Hope this helps.

Re: seat foam
appreciate the suggestions,..1 ratty used one for a pattern would do it. Tried couch foam ,but for a bottom seat it didnt seem to have enough density. Guess i'll try local golf course for a used 1. I really thought someone would sell a replacment, but after endless plucking,no luck yet. complete seats,covers,handles,hinges,...no foam. I'll keep searchin,n keep the suggestions coming.....Thanks all

Re: seat foam
Go to a bone yard and pull the cushion out of an old van or truck bench seat. That should be good density for the booty! lol
