Default 1985 Club Car DS sluggish and rear beeper

I'm still pretty new to the forum as well as the golf cart. When I bought it, it would go a foot or two then slow and stop in forward. I replaced all the fiuel filters and oil this past weekend, putting fresh premium gas in the tank along with Sea Foam, and tore down the carburetor and cleaned it the cart runs. I've driven it for about two hours and it worked fine except it does appear to be a bit sluggish. It will take off but then slow a bit and I hav eto keep it floored all the time unless I'm going down hills. Is there a governor or other adjustment I need to make? I realize the flat head is a bit of a dog.

I also noticed that when I put the cart in service mode the oil light does not go on nor does the reverse beeper go off. Is there a Fuse panel on this cart? If so where is it?

Thanks for everyone's help on my last two posts.

you only have 1 fuse its a 10 amp its in the black box but it has to be good or the cart won,t start or run..............if your getting 12 mph thats stock and yes if you look at the carb and follow the rods the one that runs along the drivers side to rear is the gov. rod but you really don,t want to mess with it you can make the cart a whole lot worse.......if its revving and than backing off a little thats the rev limitor doing its job..........i can,t be certain i would have to be there to say for sure.....................

Thanks Tom,

Any ideas on how to get the back up beeper and oil sending light to work? I guess I could get a circuit tester and give that a try.
