Default does not start right away

When I press the gas pedal it sits there for a second or two then the motor starts turning over.

How do I fix this so that it will start right away?

Thanks

Don

Tightened the starter belt to fix this issue, believe it was slipping on initial compression round.

Hey Tom, I have made a tool to get these bloody belts nice and snug without growing a third arm. It works really well and can be easily fitted and removed or if it's your personal ride you can leave it in place. Let me know if that sounds useful to you and I can fab up another one

Chris.

Just use a screw driver to hold it right while tightening bolts
