starter bearing bad
My starter bearing is bad and I cant get it off the shaft any suggestions before i take it to a starter shop.
I took the brushes out ( I thought th enoise might be brushes and bought some of them ) took the end of starter off and it wasn't shuck pretty good ( I think because of a press fit for the bearing ) but it came off ok. I cant get the bearing off the shaft. It is hard to get a hold of it without a tool I am thinking so dose anyone have a trick. I heated it with a small tourch and tapped to no avail. So before I take it or tear it up I am looking for help. Andy |
