Default Club car Transporter?

Just purchased a club car with sn. JG9747-000000 from the state. Trying to order parts but needing to make sure of what i have Is it a transporter 6 made in 1997? Any thoughts on what motor it has/ came with? The odd thing about this one it has a full size Alternator and it appears to be factory. Any reason why? I would like to lift it. What is the most economical kit on the market that would work on this one? Good place to order parts? Thanks all i know it's alot of question but any and all help would be great! Ros

Default Re: Club car Transporter?

mmm pictures! that might help use. full size alt? theres a sticky on the top of the cc page that tells you how to decode the serial number. some one else posted a lin to cc for a owners manual. asks for your serial, and name and address. free material for me. will help some info for you. as far as engine there should be a tag on the left side of the engine in front or around the afan intake. it should have something like fe290-as10 or fe350-as10or maybe fe 400as-10. theres also a epa tagg on it with a kawasaki lable, and some mombo jumbo for the4 engine you displacement is on there.
hope this helps you some.
