Default 92 club car steering drawing

Hello to all. After reading all of the wonderful info on this forum, this is my first attempt at this. I have a 92 gas club car and I think that the steering gear box assembly has broken off where it attaches on the drivers side. (the cart definitely leans to the drivers side as you look at it from the front) I do not have a manual for my cart and I was wondering if anyone could produce a drawing of the front end steering and suspension so I could see exactly what I need to do to fix the problem. Thanks in advance for any info!

WELCOME TO BGW !!!

Glad to send some pics of the CC front end but, curious as to why u think it is related to the cart leaning? Does the cart not steer? May be two different problems.... I have a carryall that leans so here is what I am planning on doing for it; Remove the front leaf spring and rotate it end for end. Remove rear leafs and switch em side for side. Most carts carry one person around for their lives and the suspension wears out ON one side.

I would appreciate the pics. It looks like a piece broke off just where it attaches above the leaf spring. There is just a little bit of a stub remaining right now. The cart steers without a problem. I see what you are saying about maybe it just got worn out on one side and that is why it is leaning. Thanks for the info.

Pics please. I dont think the steering box is bolted completely straight but more of an angle.

The piece that looks broke off could be a stop. Have some one turn the wheel while you watch and see if the 'broken' piece is the steering stop at full right or left?

Here are some pics of what the of a front view and inside of the wheel wells. Hopefully they can help someone define my solution a bit more.

That piece you are seeing with the rubber bellows is just as it should be.
It does look as if the bellows has come off of the end of the round rack and is just hanging there. push it back up on it and hold it with a ziptie.
Its purpose is to keep dirt and mud out of that end.The rack assy moves the tierod and wheel on the right or passenger side and the two wheels are connected by another tierod running from the right spindle to the left.

As for the leaning, check for bent spring in the front, mounting points where the spring bolts to the frame, could even be an old tired spring sagging.
Check the back as well, an issue in the back can make the front lean.
Might try rotating the front spring 180 degrees since driver side usually carries more weight most of the time.

Thanks for all of the info! I will tie back the bellows and this weekend I am going to reverse the spring on the front.
