Wiring Help for Driving Lights

I have a pair of LED driving lights. Can I wire direct switch to battery with in line fuse? Do I ground everything to frame or direct to Battery. I do have a relay I can use if needed.

welcome to BGW.....you can wire to battery and ground either or to cart or battery........................

Thanks for help. I read somewhere that if you do not use a relay with LED lights, you will burn them out quickly as they only require about 2 amps. Also, is it neccasary to ground each light or just once from switch? The lights are all that will be on this line.

i can,t answer about how long they last that i don,t know ...........if each light has a ground tap them togather and ground and than the 1 ground from switch......anything with a ground needs to be grounded..................just a matter of how you go about it........................

I dunno about LED's but I run a pair of 75 w Halogens on my cart. Inline fuse through the light switch and all is well after two + years) Walmart, under $15 the pair complete with all wiring, fuse and switch etc. I cut them into the body for a nice sleek appearance using the supplied brackets. Plenty powerful enough to get me to the cart shed @20+mph and cheaper than those (IMO) nasty CC units at 10 X the price.
