Re: how to lift it cheap
I bought lift kit part # LKT CC5 041 ($199.99) and tires part # TWA BLK MBD and TWA BLK MBP ($129.98x2 - right and left side tires) shipped to the house for a total of $463.62. I bought it from buggies unlimited. Installed the lift last night on my carry all 2 and what a difference it makes. I will post some pictures later today.

If you Z the frame you will need to add an extension to the steering coupling.
And most people kinda flinch about cutting the frame. This is what I've done to a couple of DS and Carry Alls. |

Re: how to lift it cheap
You can install straight metal straps the the same way you install "Z'' straps to undo the lift. But after you lift it, why would you want to undo it ?

Re: how to lift it cheap
Yeah when I first heard about the Z-lift I was thinking no way!!!! But I wanted to save the 300-400 bucks and use it elsewhere. This cart build is my favorite so far because I kept the cost realistic.
