Default parking brake not clicking in

On my 98 CC the parking brake is not staying on. It seems to be in the pedal, not the brake it self. Does anyone know what I can look at to see what to fix.

Welcome.
Should just be a small mechanical cam and dog under the cart below the peddle?

It is a simple mechanical device that probably needs adjustment or tweaking. If you are the mechanical type just lay on the ground next to the cart and study the physics of the brake linkage while you operate the pedal by hand......
If you are not the mechanical type I am afraid I can not help much.....

Mix a drink and call the cart guy!
