Club Car runs then floods out
I have a club car that seems to be flooding out. there is a tube that comes off the carb that runs through the frame and gas comes out of it after i run it for about 15 minutes. I had had some trouble with smoking had some gas in the oil, I changed the oil and pulled the carb of and cleaned it out. It seemed to run ok after the gas cleaned out of the exhaust now the issue with the tube that comes of the carb. I assume this tube is some type of overflow. Has my needle valve become dirty again? Should i Buy a new carburetor? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Club Car runs then floods out
Sounds like your needle is not shutting the fuel supply off and that is why your getting gas overflowing and probably in the oil as well. My suggestion is to pull carb and thoroughly clean it and check to see if needle is shutting off. You can simply do this by blowing low pressure in the inlet and moving the float up and you will know if its shutting off.

Re: Club Car runs then floods out
Nobody ever mentions that they cleaned the carb and fuel tank. It's always just the carb.
Where does the dirt in the carb come from? Pull carb and clean it again, take a piece of hose and syphon/vacuum the bottom of the tank of trash/water. If there is alot then also check the gas can you fill the cart with for dirt/water. Clean the entire fuel system and you should be good to go. |

Re: Club Car runs then floods out
Exactly, it only gets fuel when the engine turns over because it has a fuel pump, so I still say its in the carb, needle not seating. Hang in there you will find the problem.
