Clutch or belt ?
Got the 01 ds, noticed my belt is only riding up about 3/4's up the clutch. I've measured my belt and it's 15/16 th's wide, now I know a new belt is 1 inch wide, I had planned on getting the sever duty double cogged belt. But either way heavy duty or regular belt do you all think the 1/16 loss on the belt is my issue or do I need to look into clutch rebuild as well? Guess I can always just wait n see what the new belt does. Just figured someone else has already went through it already.

Re: Clutch or belt ?
I've never had a clutch off before so I was doing a little surching around and couldn't find what I was looking for about a cc but seen some stuff on other clutch drivin motors. Can I just pull the outer side without the need of a puller tool and replace weight kit n thrust washer?

Re: Clutch or belt ?
Easiest way is to pull clutch and overhaul it on the bench. You will need weight kit, washer and plastic guides.

Re: Clutch or belt ?
Haven't heard of the plastic guides by chance is that the button kit ? I've only seen the weight kit, thrust washer , and button kit, and bearing. That's the only 4 replacement parts I've seen. And thanks BBM for the assistance!

Re: Clutch or belt ?
