Default Need a picture please 97 up shift cable bracket

Can some post or send me a pic of this bracket I'm swapping ccw reared putting in a cw an these brackets are different an I only have the wrong one so please so I can fab one or know what I'm looking for an where it mounts

Sorry KC I have no pictures but the bracket is just that. A bracket. It needs to be sturdy enough not to deflect when R and F are selected. Sorry I can't be of more help right now but I'll try and get pictures tomorrow if you are still in a jam.

Ok I got the bracket in ups today... But for the life of me can't figure where it mounts can someone please post a pic of it in cart. Please


An here's yet another question for those of u that have dome the swap. The skid plate/ everthing gets mounted too did you have to notch or trim a spot in it? The front of my reared is hitting it. Or did you shim the rearend out more ??? Please any info would help

sorry chris! it was better then then me and my father in law working on his 53 ford, and his crack is showing! just thought i slip in a lil humor this morning!

hey kc how rember i have a 99 and you have a 97. by the pic i found both are the same. did you need the one on the trans side? or the body mounted one> the pic 3 rose shows is the body mounted. or can you explin and we can help! we can take more pics!

This is what I have found in doing this swap... You have to notch the lower skid plate for clearance of reared. Better make sure you get all throttle cables an brackets because cables pre 96 are to short and brackets are different so and the shift cable bracket of course I'm going to try to fab one up tommorow while waiting on new bracket. I hope the cable is the rite length
