Default How do I check igniter and ignition coils?

I've got a no spark condition on my 1986 Club car, is there anyone who might have the ohm meter value procedure checks for the igniter and ignition coil.
Also is there a electronic replacement for the ignition system? Seems the parts sure are expensive!
Thanks, I have a manual coming in the mail but it won't be here for about a week or so.

You clearly haven't read the associated posts , so to reiterate and save you the trouble; Feel free to scope the ignitor resistance. It should fall in the 80k ohm level. A good unit will test in this range but curiously, so will a bad one No one knows why but there seems to be no definitive test for these confounded units.
