Default Club car driven clutch 2" nut removal

The serial number on my CC says it is a 95. I bought a new driven clutch the other day becuase the one on my cart is old as crap. When going to pull it off I noticed that there was no bolt to unscrew as I have been told from diagrams and others that is all there is to it. Instead there is a 2" nut. I looked through the diagrams on BGW and it looks like this may be for the 84'-91' models. Just looking for some ideas on how to get it off. Is it left or right threaded? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have attached a pic

Should be a standard thread (left to loosen). Even when CC went to Clockwise engine rotation in 1996 I don't believe they ever changed the thread on the driven clutch. It is odd to find that on a 95 model year though.Spray some penetrating fluid on it and it should come right off.

Thanks for all the feedback. It looks different because there is not bolt int the center of the shaft where it is supposed to be. After 6 hours of blow torching and impact drilling and breacker baring we realized that the retainging bolt was misssing and the dang hole was packed with crap. Once we realzed that was the case we put a puller on it and it poped right off. WOW what a day!!

I have a 92 my buddie has a 95, our carts driven clutch do not look like your clutch, My question is? is it required to remove the 2 inch nut to remove it form the cart, or is the original bolt head broke off and the clutch is stuck, because what keeps the square shaft key from falling out?

No the big nut is part of the clutch assembly. It is not required to take it off. In my case the retainer bolt was just missing and the hole was filled in with grease. So I figured there had to be something as a retainer and all that was there was the 2" nut so that is what I thought it was. Anyhow all you have to do is pull out the retainer bolt on the end of the shaft and then a two prong puller will pull it right off.
