Default 87 CC KF82 carb adjustment

What exactly does the one needle adjustment do on the carb of the KF82? My cart is "hard starting" but once warmed up for a while, it will run fine...does this adjustment have anything to do with that? I really have to choke and choke it and it will take off then sputter and i'll choke it again then once ran for a while it runs/starts fine..

any ideas?
Chad

its air/fuel mixure.....when you tore carb down did you take every jet out and run a wire thur every hole you could find? did you use a compressor to blow thur every opening and port you could find?..............................

it has somethijng to do with air.....has to be in and tight, they tend to work out and if it does cart will run but like crap if you take just a common screw that fits and put it in cart will run great............................

That is the idle air jet it meters the air to the emulsifier? tube,
the one with all the little holes in it. Often people look in the
emulsifier and can see through it and think it is clean but it
will still have gum on the sides and make starting and idling hard.
