Question Four-wheeler suspension???

It;s another question from the uneducated--I believe the man we got our 1991 club car carry all II plus used the suspension from a Honda fourwheeler to lift our cart. Can this even work? I know he has made some custom pieces to make it go together, but I'm sure more needs to be done. Also, whats the diff between the EZ Go, carry all II and so on, as far as the machanics go? And our serial # starts with EG91--that's just the make (utility, carry all) and year, right? I've read some posts about diffrent engines known for breaking parts etc., just wondering if I had one of those...
