Default Solenoid keeps Failing

I have a 2006 Precedent and have replaced the solenoid 2 times in the last couple of hours of use. Tonight 3rd one went bad. Everytime I replace it the cart runs great for a little bit then the solenoid goes bad. I am using Club Car solenoids.

What would cause them to continually go out?

Thanks.

constant duty solenoid or momentary ? Golf carts require a constant voltage return, If you are using a momentary (car style replacement) then forget it. It's not going to work since it doesn't supply return voltage after it re-opens after the start phase.

theres no logic for that to happen other then a few freaky issues...1st if your getting solenoids from same place same batch i have seen on several times over the years where there were bad batches of solenoids out there so maybe try getting one from another part of the country.....2nd and i,m shooting from hip on this if cart is overcharging and solenoid just can,t handle it.........you said you are using C.C. solenoids are they stamped right on solenoid club car? are you getting them from a C.C. dealer??? theres really no other reason for a cart to eat solenoids..............................
