Default i want fast carts-easy way to do then undo quickly?

I work at a golf course and I'm the mechanic there (which I know it seems odd that im asking a question like this if i work on them) BUT ANYHOW I want to be able to easily make my cart go fast (sure there's the governor...) but since the carts are not mine, I want the methods I use to be simple to install (a minute or three), simple to uninstall (also, a minute or three), and not be so drastic that the cart needs to have a tach on it so I don't trash my counterweight, hit the rev limiters, such. I've worked on engines for years but im just getting into club cars and i can't fiddle around with them much, which is why I decided to come here for help, ideas, whathaveyou.

ON THE SAME TOPIC,
I work at a camp that rents golf carts for two weeks every year. They are all different types of club cars (2/4/6 seats, Carry-alls, modified 2 seats with beds) and some of the carts are needed for emergency services. WHAT IS THE CHEAPEST, NON-PERMANENT METHOD TO INCREASE TOP SPEED WITHOUT GOING OVER 4300 RPM? If I need a tach, then so be it. But if i can adjust the governor to top at around there, I would much rather do that. a significant low-end isnt really necessary, either.

Being that these are not YOUR carts, and, inexperienced drivers will be driving them,
I'm not going to tell you how to do it, and I'm asking fellow BGW members not to answer it also!

Sorry!

Who are the inexperienced drivers you are talking about? the only person that would use any sort of device set on is me and i have driven golf carts for recreational uses for about 5 years.

I respect your answers but I just don't see the need any sort of worry. Basically, you are just making me figure this out myself, which I don't mind doing, but I figured that the safest way to increase the speed and also the quickest way to do it/undo it would be found here where there are many experienced golf cart modifiers who know what works and what doesn't

My intention for this was just so that, when I need to find someone on the course, I would set my device on the maintenance cart (Carryall 2), go find them, come back to the maintenance barn, then take off my device.

I've hunted around the internet for a while and come across many quick and dirty ways that are just going to end up throwing the entire engine so I figured asking for a safer way than that wasn't a bad idea.

You said carts... plural... which lead me to believe it wasn't just for one single Carryall II,
Plus... something just sounds "fishy" to me.

In all honesty... there really isn't a "switch" or device that you can just put on or take off at a moments notice.
(for example: clamp a Vice-Grips on and go, then take it off when you get back.)
Modifications to the governor take time to set up in order to get your specified rpm's without doing damage in one way or another.

What sounds fishy? I'm not trying to hide anything. My intention for this was to only be using a method of speed increase on one cart, and that cart being the one I am driving. When finished driving, whatever I did/put on would be undone/taken off. I may not have been very clear but I am happy to elaborate. I'm just looking for advice.

its a golf car, they do not go fast. if you want speed the only way to do this without injury is to buy the Xcelorator clutch kit from clubcar.

With no disrespect golfcarthing, Why on the planet would anyone shell out that kind of money for a modification that does nothing more than CC tuners have been doing themselves for years for a fraction of the price ?? Ask most of the folks here and I'm sure you'll find plenty who have punched a few holes in Club Cars BS. I for one; am not dropping that kind of money on a kit that achieves less than other modifications can gain for a fraction of the price. Shame on CC. This should have been offered years ago and not as a reaction to the likes of CPP who have been churning out quality tuning parts for years.
Just saying;

as far as i know, it does not cost that much. (490.00) its far better than having someone hack your sheaves up, or grenading the engine from a governor bypass. IDK how many people i tell this to that buy club cars, if you want to go fast get electric. if you want gas buy a frickin Rhino/RZR. golf cars are only made to go 19.2 after that they are far too unstable to be going that fast. plus it does not void your warranty. if you wanna play you have to pay!
