Default 85 club car starts but no go

I have an 85 club car that starts when you give it gas but it will not move. So far I have cleaned the carbs, drained the gas and replaced, charged the battery changed all the filters and made sure the fuel pump was moving fuel. Anybody have any other suggestions the kids are driving me nuts to get it fixed.
Thanks STU

I'm willing to bet that it's probably not actually starting when you give it gas, it is probably just cranking over trying to start. It can look, and sound like it is running as it is being cranked over trying to start. Jack the rear end up off the ground and then give it gas (all the way to the floor). Watch the clutches, if it actually starts the motor will pick up RPM noticably and you will see the clutches engage. If the RPM doesn't change from where its at the first moment you hit the gas than the motor isn't starting. (hopefully that makes sense....)

If it is actually starting and still won't move you have an issue with your clutches, rear end or dragging brakes would be my guess.

Was it running fine before this and just started having issues all the sudden or did you pick it up in a non running state and are trying to get it running?

I will try that shoeless but I will be out of town the next couple days. In reverse it seems to creep but forward nothing. I will jack it up but I bet you are right its maybe just turning over, if so do you think its an ignition problem. Supposed to take it next week but the guy that fixes them is a long drive and not cheap hoping to fix it myself.
Thanks STU

its not running its just trying to start trhats why the creeping in reverse......that says the clutches should be ok so you need to see if you have spark and or fuel........check for spark while cranking over and if you have it take the fuel line off right at the carb and see if its pumping fuel while cranking....if so take the carb off and really go over every part of it.........you can,t just per say clean them you need to tear every jet out and clean every hole you find.....blow thur everything with a air compressor............................

I took the fuel line off at the pump and it was spitting fuel out I also checked for spark and it had spark. When I cleaned the carb I thought I did a pretty good job I took the jets out made sure everything was open but maybe I will try again and use the air compressor and do a better job.

If it's getting fuel and spark there is only air left in the equation. Anything clogged up in your air intake? Carb funtioning properly? Blade opening up all the way?

Also, try dropping the bowl and make sure there is gas in there and that the float is working properly.

EDIT: I would also check the battery to make sure it is fully charged. I know that with my quad it would crank the motor over all day long with a low charged battery but not have the umph to get it to fire. If you charged up the battery a bit it would fire right up. First time it did that I assumed it couldn't be the battery since it was cranking and started the fuel, spark, air checklist and everything was good. Put gas in the cylinder and it would fire for a sec and die. After getting really annoyed and trying all sorts of things I jumped the battery and it fired right away. Charged up the battery and all was good.

Just seen the edit. That makes sense. I had the battery checked and it was good. When I had the charger on it I gave it gas and it took right off. Maybe its as simple as a battery.

I have found that mine starts when I just barely push the pedal enough to make the motor spin. If I floor it, no start.
