Controller resistor keeps blowing
I have a 2007 precedent and the resistor between the controller and the batteries keeps burning up while I was hooking up an amp I got a spark fron the green and white wire on the motor I beleive they touched when I hit the amp and it touched both leads. It took awhile but I started to smell something burning and I found it was the resistor between the battery and the controller. How it is wired is the green from the motor connects to a yellow wire on the controller which has a resistor that goes to the batteries I replaced the burnt one with a new one and as soon as i conneceted it I could feel the resistor getting hot so i disconnected it So my question is do you believe that I have burnt out the controller and need to replace it or is it something else because now the cart will not move HELP PLEASE
