Default my 96 CC gasser project post

well....started my project Friday....

after deciding that my engine was just slap wore out, I opted to replace my fe290 with a refurbished motor from J&M carts out of Evan Ga. cost for the motor will be $495.00 with a core motor swap...comes with a 6 month warranty....

got the motor snatched out and UPS's to J&M on friday, cleaned out the motor compartment getting it ready for my new motor when it gets here.....

went ahead and attempted my first camo job.....turned out better than some worse than others.....

after I get my engine in, I will add a lift and a set of tires..

engine is back !!!!!! J&M has great service....they received my engine Tuesday and had my new one on the way the same day...was here by noon today.....

got everything bolted back on, and it will be ready to install tomorrow!

all and all, not a bad experience...really really helped me to understand how everything works on these carts......

Default and it is done !!!! (new fe290 install)

braved the mid day Georgia heat and installed my newly received replacement motor...went in rather smooth...and much to my amazement, it fired up shortly after the fuel started pumping thru my new filters....runs very smooth,,,,carb rebuild will be next....

ran it and got a pretty consistant 21-23 miles per hour had a lot more giddy-up on the front end now...

next:
carb
lift
tires
machined clutch
power clutch spings
