Hello Everyone,
The wife and I are looking at a 1999 Club Car that the owner wants $1600 for. I was just wanting everyones input on the car and if this is a fair price. I haven't seen it in person yet, but the owner says it runs great and there are no mechanical problems with it. If I were to get it I would give it a paint job and lights pretty quick. Thanks for you help, Tony ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Just plain Club Car golf carts (about the same year) are going for $1700, this maybe a good deal, depending on how it runs.

Depends so much on the area. Around here that would go for around $1200. You can pick up lifted carts all day in the neighborhood of 2K.

Well, I finally got the SN from the owner. It looks like this is really a 1995.

I'm going to have to agree with Boo... It should be a bit cheaper then that!
I'd keep shopping! last summer I picked up a good shape, '94 "Plain Jane" gasser for $1350.00 for a buddy of mine, This is what it looks like $2200.00 later! Rims/Tires, topper, and windshield, painted body, lights and tail light kit, seat vinyl, (and the new All Sports 7.5 "Super Sport" lift from Tom @ CPP!) ![]() http://forums.cartpartsplus.com/viewtopic.php?t=1124 It was a fun project! So fun... I want to do another one! |

I think we might try and get this one for less. All they can do is say no, right?

That's right. Painting a cart is not cheap! Even if you do it yourself.

I'd offer them 1200 or 1300 and see what they say. Remember, you're going to want to make some changes and it's nice to have a little coin left over for that.
