Smile elec body on gas

Hello to all, I've tried to read everything I could on this site so as not to be redundant. Found nothing about retrofits/parts/ideas, about what to do with the charger plug hole on the elec. body when put on gas cart. I'm sure I could come up with something, but would not mind some thoughts from you all. I 've read (and seen) a lot of good ideas on this site about everything. I have a 2000 gas club car. Thanks in advance.

Welcome to BGW> And thank you for doing some reseach before asking us to do it for you I guess it depends on whether you are wanting to patch and paint the body or just patch. Patching can be done on any of the steel, fiberglass, or plastic bodies. And a presentable plug may be found as close as your local plumbing supply store? Depends on what you are looking for ultimately? How about a big aluminum Diamond plate kick board?

Thanks scottyb and rusty for the welcome. I thought possibly someone had seen something in the sponsor's store, or others that had addressed this problem. The kick plate idea was a good one. I forgot/neglected to mention I was planning to install a power supply plug in the center (of a large washer-typ-thing?). I have a spotlight I wanted to use and this would work in that area. I had found a FR lever bezel that might be big enough, but its not cheep. I might as well get the kick plate at the same price. .....wait a minuet.....I'll invent a plug.....no...I'll call it a "retrofit" so's I can charge more, and make a fortune......of course all you guys can get in at the ground floor.

Watch out! I'll steal your idea & have em made in china undercutting your market till you sell out at 1/2 the costs.

I do have one old CC that has a Dryer plug installed. It is the same recepticle as CC. I used an aluminum 4" circle (standard electric supply) and cut a hole in it for the plug. You could do this with any plug.
Want a pic? It ain't much...

Ha, I bet China already made that aluminum plug. Great... I guess I'll still have to go to work tommorow. See..... this is just what I said....the guys(maybe some girls, so "guys" just used collectivly).. on this site have great ideas. The hardware store dosn't have a "golf cart" section so this will not be expensive. Thanks ScottyB
