Default 2003 Cart almost quits on steep hills..

Just bought this cart, it runs great on flat ground but almost quits going up hills. Could it be in the goverenor, carb or what?? Tried to start in maintenance mode to adj. the carb but in won't start in maintenance mode.

you can play with gov. just be very careful but to be honest i,m not sure what thats going to do for hills......you need more torque which you,ll get from some clutch modifying or a bigger engine........................

I bought the clutch power spring from CPP to help with torque on hills, which is supposed to help. I haven't had a chance to install it yet, so not sure how much it helps.

Thanks fellas, I think this winter i think i'll take the clutch out and send it in to CPP and have it milled and add the stronger spring. Mndanielsncsu let me know how the spring works.
Thanks Ronnie

Will do, it'll probably be at least a month before I get around to it... have to finish buying a house first.

Thanks in advance
