Bent Kingpin
I was replacing the front leaf spring bushings in my 2007 Club Car DS and noticed some vertical play in spindle. I tightened the kingpin as tight as I could but that did not help the play. So I decided to take the kingpin out to further inspect. I noticed a slight bend in the kingpin. I have attached a picture. Is this normal? Would this slight bend cause my vertical play? I would think that the kingpin should be straight but I am new to carts so any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance for the help.

Re: Bent Kingpin
the picture you show here is actually the spindle. the kingpin is what attaches this to the axle. (the pivot point). You can't really see the bend in the spindle in this picture. Does it have the same angle as the other side?

Re: Bent Kingpin
Have not taken the other side off yet. Might try that this afternoon. The bend is hard to see in the pic but the top of the spindle angles to the right. Also might try to put a washer on the bottom of the spindle to reduce the play.
