Gas Cap Question
Just a quick stupid question, my gas cap on my '87 Club Car has a small hole in the center of it, when I take the golf cart out for a ride, some gas spills out of the hole from driving up and on hills, etc. Is this hole a necessary vent hole? Or can I plug it? None of the other motor vehicles I own have such a hole in their gas caps.

Re: Gas Cap Question
does your tank have a vent tube in it too? my 99 has both the vent and the vented cap. if both it is not needed to have 2 vents. but if you put a unvented cap on and it runs and dyes off...you need a vented cap, or the ven tube and 90 degree elbo for the tank is plugged.
