I have a 93 cc, will start to run, then an excessive amount of gas from the valve cover hose floods the engine. I took carb apart and cleaned, Float seems to be working ok. Any ideas? Thanks, Jim

Not an expert on CC's but it could be the diaphram on the fuel pump leaking. Good luck.

Thanks DOOmsman, I took the fuel pump apart. It looked pretty good, diaphrams looked ok. Checked the oil and was full of gas. I drained all the gas and oil and replaced with new oil. Re-cleaned the carb. Started right up once the float filled. Now is just smoking quite a bit. I will run it for a few days and then change the oil and filter this weekend

I will run the cart for a few days for short periods and then check the oil again to see if gas is still getting there.
