Default preditor 420 engine in 80's club car

I pulled out the old engine, and have the new one. Not sure where to even start. I need some help. This is a project my son, (the welder/fabricator), and my other son the mechanic will be doing with me. Please point me in the right direction. If you need info just ask, thanks Joe

State gas or electric rear ends...more mods to figure out adaption on electric conversions, but will work. I'm on a 97 ds club car 420cc electric swap and they are tight so i lifted and built swing arm adding clutches and jack shafts for gearing now..getting very expensive to keep up with torque needed for 26" tires
