Default I need more electric power...what do?

I have a golf cart limo that I shuttle people around with. It has loud speakers which have a decent power draw, and I'm looking to add electric heaters (similar to these) in the roof to heat the riders.

Since it's a gas cart with ~12v out, I'd have to figure out how to convert the volts up for that heater.

I'm thinking my issue is going to be the output of the generator. When I idle or stop at a stop light, the generator puts out ~6-11v, which isn't enough to recharge my deep cycle battery. I live in an apartment where it's not practicle to re-charge the cart when not in use, so I'd like to figure out ways to burn fuel to help my power issues.

Any ideas?

do you got enough room to run another battey in parrell? this will incrase your amps, but still keep you power supply at 12 volts. then get you a small battery charger and at night plug it in to charge the batterys. i know its a old trick with a mud bogger to aid in a lot of winch time.

I have enough room under different seats to wire in a second battery, but the issue is that I live in an apartment complex...so I can't charge it at night. My apartment isn't close enough to the parking spot to provide power.
