I'am about to purchase my supersport lift kit and have notice in the item decription that I must use 10" wheels ? Why is that ? The wheels that I want are itp ss 108 's and a off road type tire , not the low profiles . Thank you in advance .

Stock Golf car rims are 8"...
it's suggested that you use 10" (minimum) offset rims, because of possible Spindle rubbing issues with the stock rims. Plus... stock rims and tires on a cart with a 6" lift, looks funny... and the lack of stabillity would be of concern. (My opinion... sorry to those that like it that way!) again... this would be a question for Tom... without the wait! |

Thats exactly right Lockman. 8" rims will not fit on a spindle lift kit, they rub.
they can be used on the rear though and yes they look a bit funny with 10" on the front and 8" on the rear. I know, I have an old electric CC that I have that way. But its functional for now. CartTrader |
