Hi,
Just bought a 91 gas club car-looks like it has a frozen engine. Should I rebuild it, buy a rebuilt or new? Any suggestions on where to purchase item(s)? Should I put the same engine back in? Of what I can tell it is a FZ340. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks |

Cart Parts plus takes trade in's when people buy Big block kits. You might get lucky and they have a complete take out. Other than that I would rebiuld it....new cost too much. OR you could do a conversion to one of the OHV clone engine....theres a bunch of those going on right now in http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/big-block-talk/

If your cart has the stock engine it should be the flat head. That's what's in my 89. It is called the 341 side valve, AKA, KF82. From what I've read here, this engine does not like being souped up. If you are out for more speed you should try a different engine.
