Default How much is it worth?

Earlier this yr, we quit drag racing so I have no use for my 01 Club Car. I advertised it on Racing Junk for $3200, hoping to get $3000 but the only thing I've got is trade offers, motor cycles etc. Am I asking to much? When I went to replace my old ezgo last yr, people were asking me close to that for electric carts. This is a real clean cart, new back seat, windshield, has brand new 8 in tires. I've got more than 3 in it so maybe instead of dropping the price, I'll let the grand kids drive it around and get some good out of it. Before anyone says this is a FOR SALE ad, all I want is opinions on my price. I'm in Ky and this isn't something you can through in a box and ship. I serviced this thing and replaced belt with the Napa shorter 1 that someone recommended on here. I lost enough on all my racing stuff, I'd hate to loose on this too.

I don't think anyone has any money. I have a 87 Buick grand national and people want to trade their junk for it.

I traded my bike for my 04 club car and some cash to a guy who repairs carts at golf courses. He told me he gets about 3 grand for a refurbished club car. He rebuilds the motors and puts brand new bodies on them. Not sure if that helps.

Thanks for the replies. Considering the shape this is in, carbon fiber dash and other extras, I think I'll stay close to my price. I know no one has any money, things aren't moving to good around here.

This post seems rather old but in California I've seen the same Club Car selling for about $2,300.00 and there are plenty of used or need repair ones for under $800.00

Here in WI, a cart like yours (with my limited knowledge of it) would go for around $2500ish. At a local CC dealer, used bone stock starts at around 2k and the price goes up from there. Just my $.02

My '01 CC DS gas with windscreen, back seat, dash cover w/locking glove box doors, SS style wheel covers, lighter outlet, and basic light kit from the dealer was $2495, some years back.
Since then I did add turn signals and brake light to the basic kit, a Powerlet/BMW style power outlet, fuel gauge, trailer receiver hitch, adapted a snow plow and rotating beacon (winter use), and 10 in alloy wheels with DOT approved 22 inch tires.

You can ask what you want but its only worth what someone will pay.
In your situation, I'd keep it around for my own use/grandkids. I don't think you will get what you want out of it.
