Default 96 gas Club Car run intermittently

I use this cart for feeding so need it constantly. It seemed to run out of gas last week and after fueling up it did not run. It made a slow noise but did not turn over like it should. I replaced the fuel filters thinking they got dirty but it still did not run. Ordered a fuel pump. When I was removing old pump gas showed up in fuel filters so I hit key and pedal and it ran. I tightened old fuel pump and fed. Next morning it ran about five minutes and just faded out. I replaced fuel pump and it ran great for the feeding then faded out again. I am not real mechanical but can get by with guidance.

Welcome to BGW aahltd!

The most common problem with your symptoms are plugged tank or carb vents,

The vent on the tank comes out, drops to the bottom of the tank and goes through a hole in the frame, (see pic below)
This one commonly gets plugged with "mud dobbers" and prevents the tank from venting properly.
An easy test for this... crack the gas cap open a little, and drive it around to see if it still does it... if not, the tank vent is plugged!

The carb vent does pretty much the same...

If either gets plugged, it'll cause a "no fuel" symptom!

Thanks for the answer. I do not have a hose line running from the gas vent to underneath just the vent. I had already stuck a pin in that hole to make sure it was opened. Now I should check the carburetor.
Do I remove the carburetor to do this?

Get a piece of line, attach it to the vent then blow in it, if it's clear, it's all good! (cracking the gas cap and running the cart will tell you whether it's clear or not!)
next, would be to disconnect the fuel line at the fuel pump coming from the tank...
blow in that, and you should hear bubbling in the tank! (sometimes the the line or elbow in the tank gets plugged also!)

The vent line on the carb would be next... remove the line (IF you have a line) that drops down from the carb (to nothing) and blow in it... if it's clear it's good!

If all those are good, then it's on to other things

No problem!

There's really only 3 things that make carts run...
A strong battery, fuel, and spark... Without 1 of those... your S.O.L!

^^^

Yup, the beauty of a carb'd motor. If it isn't running check for spark, fuel and air and solve whichever isn't there. I know that EFI is pretty much superior in every way but I do enjoy the simplicity.

I didn't get to check the fuel tank or carb vents today because the cart ran and I don't imagine the blockage will show as long as it works. I'll keep driving, though only what is necessary, and check it once the cart quits working. Thanks and will post what happens.

Feeding cart quit running...... just like before, it was running then on way back to barn just faded out. The fuel filters had fuel in them. I blew into the carburetor hose and heard it. I then tried the cart and it ran about two feet, so I kept blowing into the carb hose but only managed to get about six feet total. I had loosened the gas cap so I believe that wasn't the problem. Do you think I should take the carb off and attempt to clean it?

If fading out means like it seems to be running out of fuel, then yes, clean the carb the best you can!
But... I'd suggest checking for spark when it stalls out on you first, just to eliminate the coil from the picture!
(Coils sometimes fail when the engine gets warm, and will come back when it cools a bit.)
