Forward/reverse switch question.
When I was pulling apart the body of my 99 clubcar the head of the screw broke off that holds on the plastic control knob for forward and reverse. Does anyone know if you can buy the rod that it screws into or do you have to get the whole assembly?

That's not the first time I've heard that happen!
 If... You have a CC dealer somewhere close to you, I'm sure they could order one! #1013587 FNR Bell Crank Weldment (#8 in the pic) Most try to either remove the broken screw with an Easy-Out, or drill and retap it before having to replace the shaft.  |

I talked to the dealer and he said I had to buy the whole thing. He wanted 150$ for it. No thanks! I took the pin out, ran a die over it, made an adaptor to thread over the end, installed an old B&M shifter knob on it and I am ready to roll. Fun little project and it looks a lot better then the original plastic knob. Thanks for coming up with the part number for me. Nice to know there are guys out there who don't mind digging for stuff like that.
