Re: how to find year?
Welcome to the forum tdog69.................
Look under the glove boxes where the floor mat meets the back of the bottom of the glove boxes. You should find a metal ID Plate or a decal. The number will start with a letter. Let us know what that number is. I realize you stated "all tags have been removed" but I'm taking that to mean, "on the engine". Hope this helps. (Post a photo too. Photos are of much benefit to you when asking questions.) |

Re: how to find year?
Thanks for the photos tdog69......... Oh and tell the wife thanks too! They are good photos.
Actually, the POS, <grin> doesn't appear to be in terible shape. It just needs a little TLC. Try raising the bed and seat and looking on the frame for any numbers just stamped into the frame and tell us what they are. Also, if your wife doesnt mind, have her take photos of the engine compartmentand dash areas. Everything helps. Don't be afraid to ask questions. |

If it's a 90's something...
There should be another tag on the front frame rail, under the dash panel. You can access this by either removing the front cowl, or... the dash panel where your Ignition switch, and oil light is! It looks like a great project for a 17HP engine! Keep us updated! |

Re: how to find year?
hey thanks for the advise, i'll be out in the shop working on friday and will take a few to tear that out and look for tags back there any idea where i could find a cheap light kit to fill front holes it's been like that since i bought it i meant to plastic weld it just never did. my kids are always hitting things like cars (little inside joke my when he was 8 hit my buddy's dodge intrepid and totaled the car ,he however was worried about the hillbilly light on the front.) i've seen kits on ebay for 70ish but was wondering if there is a golf cart junk yard or is 70 pretty reasonable? REALLY APPRECIATE the feed back it really helps !thanks

Re: how to find year?
Sadly... the light cutouts are for the stock CC lights...
and there are no aftermarket lights that will fit it! they look like this... They're the exact same cutouts that I have on my cart! (Standard for Carryall's) you'll either have to get them at a CC dealer, or you could check Ebay... at a CC dealer... you'll pay upwards of $100.00 +... for the pair! (Without the wiring harness) |
