Default Eating coils???

I have searched the forums and cannot get an answer for my problem so I thought I would consult the experts. I have a 2006 ds and this will be the third coil in 4 months. Has anyone come across this before. Also, the bad coil now will shock a little but not enough to spark. It is running about 8 ohms of resistance. Any advice will help. Thanks!!

Is it the primary or secondary that's going bad?

Welcome to BGW Boody!

89... Boody doesn't have a big block! stock CC's only have 1 coil!

I've read that you can get bad coils right out of the box depending on where you get them,
and hopefully whomever your getting the coils from is warrantying them! (CC dealer? or internet?)
There are some aftermarket companies that make "less then quality" items,
I'd suggest getting your money back for the third one and try a different supplier!

I'm not sure of the origin, but should I get a Kawasaki coil for it or will it say club car?

I realize that. I'm just wondering if it's the primary side or secondary side of the coil that is going bad.

I'LL bet he has a ground issue clean all ground straps ,also check to see that your not getting your coils from the same place its sad but true that their are cheap knockoff coils that last a week to a month.
