Default 2010 precedent solution to make idel and key start

so i posted earlier on trying to figure out how to make idle and after playing around and braking a few thing ( lol ) this is the solution i got and it works great.
always make sure your ignition is off and cart is in neutral or tow mode before doing any work

at your gas pedal there is a white wire with a black tracer you need to cut this wire away from pedal and cap off both ends this wire causes the motor to cut off when the pedal is released.

after the wire is cut away your motor has the ability to idle. all you need to do is adjust your idle so the cart runs smooth with out the clutch engaging.

the cart with still be a pedal start at this point. i wanted this to be a key start like in a car so i went and bought a 5 pin key cylinder for a lawn mower and re wired the ignition cylinder since it has the option for a starter wire.

i took the starter wire output from the ignition cylinder and ran it to the starter solenoid under the seat. i then took off the orange wire from the the solenoid caped it off and hooked up my starter wire to the empty pin. i then cut the other trigger wire from the solenoid and ran it to ground thus giving me a key start like a vehicle

can also make it push to start or any other option to make it run

works great and im pretty happy with my outcome. hope this helps anyone else trying to do the same thing. any questions feel free to ask

I've seen a few kits like this one on FeeBay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/260772719351...84.m1438.l2649

The above post indicates that perhaps a kit is unnecessary. How have other Precedent owners made their carts idle? Anyone have experience with a kit like this?
