Default Club Car Performance Exhaust

does anyone here run this set up???

my muffler is basically rusted off, no whole in the pipe, but the muffler part is barely there.....you can here the cart a block away.....when running 3900 rpms.

is wondering how loud this set up would be??
the price keeps luring me back, all this for a little more than a stock muffler.
neighbors are complaining about my late night runs, so i do need to quiet it down abit.
may call cpp next week an look into it further.
just wanted to here from someone who has this set up.....find out what they think about it......

thanks pcc

I did a review on it when they first came out in 2008!

http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/video...e-exhaust.html
(I never did redo my video's)

It's a little louder then the stock muffler, but, it couldn't be near as bad as an open exhaust like you have!
Sadly I had to take the header and muffler off, and put my stock muffler back on (3 times) thanks to my campground "Security"

But, I've always liked it!

No... It's not a LOT louder, just a little louder then stock!

I, like you, tend to ride around... ummm... later in the evening!
My campground is pretty strict when it comes to 11:00 quiet time! (I've been known to stay up a bit later then that!)
and "Security" asked me to either go back to my camper before 11:00, or quiet my cart down! so I did what I had to do!

The all around performance of my cart improved, and I've been recommending that exhaust kit since I've had mine!

Hope this helps!

I have a question for you Lockman.... since joining this forum you seem like the CC Guru

How does this exhaust compare heat wise to the stock exhaust?

Since getting my project CC running, I've found that the stock muffler/exhaust puts off A LOT of heat and was looking at alternatives to remedy that.

CC Guru???

The stock muffler is under the seat, and that's where most of the heat is dissipated from,
The performance exhaust muffler is mounted to the transaxle more towards the rear of the cart, so you get less of a hot butt!
