Default Driving in water

Hey guys, I have a 1999 club car DS. I use it to take the kids to the beach. We have had so much rain this summer that our beach road is very flooded. I have driven through it several times with no issues other then the tail pipe sometimes goes under water but the cart runs fine. The water sometimes goes up to the floor boards but not over. Anything you guys think I should do to prevent damage other then install a lift kit and tires! I wanted to lower the cart this year but after i saw the road this year I think I have to go up and not down.

I agree with Spring...put on the pontoons but add a small outboard to the back bagwell...then the cart will be a transformer!

We have had nothing but rain this year! 4 hours away from us got 100mm in less then 2 hours! Thank god it didn't hit us. Turns out there is a beaver **** that's keeping the road from draining. Guess we need some TNT.
