Default Rear shock replacement after installing upgrades

Hello I have just bought my first club car, it's a 2001 cc DS. I'm in the middle of modding it. I'm putting 6" drop spindle lift kit with 22" MojaveII tires on 12x7 Vegas rims, camo wrap on body, rear flip flop seat, carbon fibre dash, windshield, light kit. My question is should I replace the the rear shocks now that I will be installing a flip flop seat. If so what shocks would be a good choice?
Also thinking while I have the body off of replacing my belts. Does anyone know what size belts I need to replace them with. Thanks in advance for any replies!

The seat kits are heavy. People are heavy. I would get heavy-duty springs. You could go to your local spring shop and get them to add a leaf. Quick easy and probably about 50 bucks.

Could I just replace the shocks and leave the leafs alone?

I just replaced all my shocks and also added a set of "add-a-leafs" to my 2008 gas DS. I have not yet drove it but it feels better sitting in my shop. The shock just dampens/absorbs the bumps, the springs are what gives it ride height. I would suggest the "add-a-leafs" for what your looking for, heres the link to where I got mine from. Best of luck

this is the time to do it . I don't see why napa couldn't order them when you have the make and model , advance had them overnight , what other auto parts are around you ?

I'm in Canada. So I can get them on eBay for 75 by the time I pay shipping or I can get a similar shock from Car Quest for 100. We have a Napa, Car Quest, Canadian Tire, etc. the shocks seem to be in good shape but like you said nows the time to do it. But I don't think it's necessary just convenient. If I do I would like to replace the front ones as well. So if anyone knows of a replacement part number for front and rear that would be helpfull
