Default club cart

sick and tired of my cart!
I have a 1996 club cart that I can't get started.. have brand new starter, solenoid and voltage regulator... with fully charged battery, cannot get it to turn over,
test light shows I have power to one post on the solenoid but when I press the pedal its not getting power to other post which means it won't get power to starter.. have tested switches, etc... what else is there?

GET AN ELECTRIC CART ? LOL
try bypassing the solenoid and see if it starts ... with no power to far side of solenoid my thought would be a bad solenoid.. even a new one may be bad

Sounds like you are on the right right track with the solenoid. You should have three wires going to the solenoid. Main power in, control, and power out. Main power should have power all the time, the control should power up when you try to start as should the power out. If power isn't going through the solenoid. Change it.

I can jump the solenoid and get it to crank over.. this is the second solenoid already.. one was used but worked when I took it off another cart. I have full power going in but nothing coming out.

Are you getting control power to the solenoid when you hit the gas pedal?

weird thing is.. I have power to both the small posts on the solenoid... and obviously the one large post as mentioned above.. nothing changes when I press the pedal, it was running fine...just started struggling to start, then nothing?? very frustrating..
thank you for the help and thoughts!!! I am lost at this point!
