Default My New 97 cart has an electrical drawdown?

the man told me to disconnect the battery or it will discharge-

Well I was wrong and didn't believe him and Last night When I came home,

It was DEAD not just dead but major dead-

I keep going over wiring and I cannot imagine what would cause a Draw down like this? the lights are a direct connect and they were Off

any suggestions on where to start to Look?

I finally found the rev limiter and will disconnect the Brown wire tonight

and I will attempt to lessen the governor Saturday- I might try the zip tie first

thanks

PS we have a lot of fall dust in the air right now and when I came home, the cart was CLEAN- everything-My wife said she wiped it down and did some amourall! She has never done that to my hunting Buggy, and she has Never taken Pictures of the hunting Buggy and sent them to her sister and Brother and friends? something tells me she likes the cart

If you have an ammeter (DVM) you can hook it up to the battery connection (in series) and measure the disharge current. Then start disconnecting things until it goes away.

Maybe water in the light switch. Disconnect the power to the light switch and try again. I had water in a brake light switch and it killed the battery overnight. You had to look really close to see that the lights were barely on.
