Default 1991 club car starter

I have no wiring. Starting over . Is the starter on while you drive I don't see a way to brake the connection to the solenoid after starting it

the starter generator is used to start the motor, once started it becomes a generator to charge your battery and run accessories. You do not want to brake the connection. They are plenty of diagrams on to how to wire it, just do a quick search.

BTW - Welcome!

A golf cart has what is know as a continuous duty solenoid and stays active any time the cart is running if you have it wired to the diagram you should be fine
