A question about tires and offset
I have a 2006 precedent and it time to add a lift and new tires and wheels.
I have a All Sports 6" A-Arm lift on its way. I am looking at 23x10x12 Moto X-Trail tires. Does anyone have experience with these tires. My primary use with my cart is street use. (Lake community) My second question is wheel offset. will 3-4 be OK with my Precedent. This is for me kind of expensive so I want it all to work well the first time. I know some of you have a lot of experience with golf carts so I hope you will share your wisdom with me. Thanks |

Re: A question about tires and offset
That offset should work. I used 2+5 offset wheels on my cart with 22s on my DS, but I don't think I needed that much. If worse comes to worse and it's not enough, you can always use spacers to get the wheels out further from the frame.

Re: A question about tires and offset
I'm confused even more now.
I called Allsports today and ask about wheel offset for my 6" A Arm lift. I was told that I need a 2" offset. I ask if a 3+4 would be OK and they told me yes. I'm confused I take it that 3+4 is 1" offset. If anyone has a 6"A Arm Allsports lift on a Precedent can you tell me what wheel offset you are running. Thanks |
