You need to be a lot more specific then that my friend!

Drive (engine) clutch?
Driven (transaxle) clutch?
Growl like metal to metal? or just a low groaning sound?
At start up? or at cruising speed?
etc., etc., etc......

Just rebuilt my primary clutch and really the only thing I think that can cause any noise would be the idler bearing. Mine was shot and definitely caused some noise. There are no other rotating parts in either clutch.

Honestly i dont know if its the drive or driven? But it does it when i pull the spark plug and just crank.. It does it as soon as the clutch is spinning. It does sound like a bad bearing somewhere. I'm going to be pulling the engine for a rebuild its smokeing like crazy when you take off only. Could the fuel pump be pulling oil from the crankcase vent? Im new to carts, but not new to small engines any info would help.

Thanks

Remove the drive belt and see if it still does it!

(you have to "roll" the belt off of the driven clutch to get it off)

Thanks for that info. I needed it. Will try tomorrow morning. If it still does it i assume its the front. If not its the rear correct? And thanks for the help

If the drive belt is off and still growls... it's somewhere in the engine!

Process of elimination... one thing at a time!
