Default Fe-350

I have an 08 turf 1 that is in need of rebuilding. I have tryied all the tips to get it to stop smoking with no results. My question is what exactly should i replace? Piston and rings, valves, seats, retainers. Anything other than that? Also, all the rebuild parts i see are for ds or other carts, What is mine? Like i said, its a club car turf 1 2008 with a fe350. Thanks for any help. Also where would be the best place to order such parts?

Basically until you tear it down and inspect everything, there is no telling what you'll "need". You can buy a complete rebuild kit, which aren't cheap, but until you know if your cylinder needs boring, you won't know what size piston/rings to order.
As for where, ebay is where I get most of my stuff. As long as it is for a 2008 club car FE350 any parts should work. Shouldnt matter what model.

Also, what is the best way to remove the engine? Do you pull the whole swing arm and springs? Or just remove the engine?

Hey there ...

Pulling the engine is easy in your car. What I usually do is pop the box off first (more room), disconnect the wiring harness and ground strap, then the cables, pop off the air cleaner pipe, take off the drive belt, remove the nuts off of the the transaxle that connect to the engine, remove the engine mounting bolts and lift the engine out. That pretty much it!
